I am so blessed to have a wonderful family to join me on my adventures through life. I am a mother to one beautiful little boy, Jackson, who just turned 2, and am blissfully married to my best friend, the best guy a girl could ask for! My husband, Dale, and I have been together 5 years, married for 2 this fall. I grew up in Rifle, and my husband is also a long time local, who was born and raised in New Castle. After being in South Carolina for almost 5 years, our family moved back to the area this past summer to be closer to family. South Carolina will always be special to us, but Colorado is home. I am grateful to be back in the mountains, and am still in awe of this beautiful area we call home. We haven’t slowed down much since getting married or having a family. In my spare time I like to cook, read, and paint. We also enjoy outings as a family with all the area has to offer, including rafting, horseback riding, camping, and hiking.
I am very proud to be a consultant for the Pampered Chef, and have worked with them for several years. I also work part time managing a mentoring program for a local non-profit, and really enjoy working with the families and youth. I am pursuing my degree in psychology with an emphasis in child and family development, and hope to continue working with families in our area. I feel there is a real need to create a support system for moms in our area, and foster friendships to build a stronger community, so Moms for Moms was a natural fit for me, and I have really enjoyed the process. I cannot wait to see where we go from here!
