I am a stay at home Mama to two beautiful children, Connor who is almost 4, and Cora who is 16 months.  My husband and I have been together for over 10 years, married 8 this summer.  He is a Physical Therapist and teaches classes at Mesa State College in Grand Junction.  He is a sports fanatic, especially basketball, but also shares my love for the outdoors.  I am a Colorado native, and after living in Phoenix for 6 years (my Hubby’s hometown, went back for Grad school) we are glad to be back on Colorado soil, now for almost 3 years.  Phoenix will always hold a special place for me, but there’s no denying that I’ve got Colorado in my blood!  I love to read and write and bake.  I like to sit in the sun and go on walks and drink coffee.  I am always learning and striving to be the best wife and mother I can be.

My husband and I have made a conscious effort not to slow down too much just because we have kiddos.  Both our children are little road warriors and love to hike and get out and about.  I love to be on the move and last summer I began documenting my adventures on my blog, Grand Valley Kids.  I wanted to get helpful ideas and information out to parents around here, as sometimes these smaller towns leave us “stuck” at home or bored with the usual activities.  I have really enjoyed putting it together, but the information still isn’t as accessible as I hoped it would be.  When this opportunity to open a Moms for Moms site literally fell into my inbox, I had to pick my jaw up off the floor because it was/is everything I had dreamed of my blog becoming in one beautiful package!  I am so incredibly grateful for this new adventure and can’t wait to get started!
