Owner of Whitefish Moms for Moms™
“It’s important for all parents to have access to information and advice that is local, family friendly and free of charge! In this generation of internet savvy moms on the go, our hyper-local social network model is the best way for moms to connect and build community.”
My husband, David, and I have three children - Simon, Madeleine, and Anna. We moved to my husband’s hometown of Whitefish from Carbondale last summer, so being a part of Moms for Moms has been a great way for me to make connections in our new community. A former public/private school teacher, I now teach Spanish classes at our local community college and am the Youth Minister at our local parish. Starting the Moms for Moms site has been great because I can work it into/around my already busy schedule and still be around for my kids when they need me. It has been so much fun to watch it grow and to feel like I am making a positive difference in the lives of other mothers.
Favorite family activities include hiking, backpacking (in my dream life), cross country skiing, canoeing and reading/playing games with the kids! We love having adventures as a family exploring this amazing part of the country – searching for moose and bear tracks in mud and snow and exploring Glacier National Park. Can’t get enough of the lakes, trees and wildlife. Every day is a new adventure – both online and off!
