My husband, David, and I have two children - Simon, age 5, and Madeleine, age 3 1/2 - plus another little one on the way in June! We moved to my husband’s hometown of Whitefish from Carbondale last summer, so being a part of Moms for Moms has been a great way for me to make connections in our new community. A former public/private school teacher, I now teach Spanish classes at our local community college and am the Youth Minister at our local parish. Starting the Moms for Moms site has been great because I can work it into/around my already busy schedule and still be around for my kids when they need me. It has been so much fun to watch it grow and to feel like I am making a positive difference in the lives of other mothers.
Favorite family activities include hiking, backpacking (in my dream life), cross country skiing, canoeing and reading/playing games with the kids! We love having adventures as a family exploring this amazing part of the country – searching for moose and bear tracks in mud and snow and exploring Glacier National Park. Can’t get enough of the lakes, trees and wildlife. Every day is a new adventure – both online and off!
